Our Production Process: From Design to Delivery

We design our products, we own the moulds, and we control how they are made.

Sino Concept has been manufacturing traffic safety equipment, event equipment and street furniture since 2009. We are not a trading company. We do not buy finished products from a catalogue and resell them. Every product we sell is our own design, made with our own moulds, to our own material specifications.

Our products are made through our own production network in China. Each factory in this network is specialised in one technology: rubber, plastic, or steel. We choose the right one for each product, we supply the moulds and the specifications, and our own staff work inside those factories.

This gives us the control of a manufacturer without the limits of a single plant. When demand grows, we add capacity where the process already runs well, instead of rebuilding a production line. It makes us faster and more flexible: we can move quickly on a new product, on a large order, or on a technology we do not use every day.

We have two centres in China:

Qingdao (Shandong Province)

Production and operations. Design, moulds, supplier management, planning and export.

Taizhou (Zhejiang Province)

Production and quality control for the factories in our network in that region.

Nothing is inspected remotely. Our people are on the factory floor.

Plastic-Rubber Composite Moulding

Hard-wearing products at a competitive price

Plastic-rubber composite moulding process showing rubber and plastic material preparation for durable safety products

Plastic-rubber composite is our most used process. Recycled rubber and recycled plastic are mixed and heated until the compound is soft. It is then loaded hot into the mould and compressed. The part takes its final shape as it cools inside the mould.

The result is a heavy, solid product that resists impact, UV and frost, at a lower cost than vulcanised rubber.

Process: material preparation → mixing and heating → hot compound loaded into the mould → compression → cooling in the mould → demoulding → trimming and finishing → inspection.

Materials: recycled rubber and recycled plastic. The mix is set by us and adjusted for each product.

Vulcanised Rubber

For products that take real punishment

Vulcanised rubber moulding process showing rubber material formed under heat and pressure

Vulcanised rubber is used where a product has to bend, take heavy loads and stay outside for years.

Here the heat works the other way round: the rubber compound is placed in the mould, then cured under heat and pressure. This changes the structure of the material itself. The part becomes flexible but very strong, and it keeps its shape under vehicle loads.

Process: rubber preparation → compound mixing → mould preparation → vulcanisation under heat and pressure → surface finishing → inspection.

Materials: selected recycled rubber. We control the compound for each product, to keep quality, hardness and odour consistent from one batch to the next. Our rubber materials comply with REACH (EU).

Cable ramps are one of our main product families. They are used on construction sites, in industrial buildings and at events, where cables and hoses have to survive vehicle traffic.

Plastic: Injection and Blow Moulding

Light products, precise shapes

Plastic injection and blow moulding process using plastic granules to produce lightweight safety products

Some products need to be light, bright and easy to stack or carry. For these we use injection moulding for solid parts with precise shapes, and blow moulding for hollow parts such as bases and bodies that can be filled with water or sand.

Process: material preparation → moulding (injection or blow) → cooling → trimming → assembly and finishing → inspection.

Materials: PP, PE, PVC, EVA and PU, including recycled grades where the product allows it.

Steel Fabrication and Surface Treatment

From raw tube to finished, coated product

Steel fabrication and surface treatment process showing welding and finishing of metal products

Steel products are made to our drawings, from raw tube and sheet through to the final coating. Surface treatment is not an option on these products: it decides how long they last outdoors.

Process: cutting → stamping → bending → welding → assembly → surface treatment → inspection.

Surface treatments: zinc plating, hot-dip galvanising, powder coating, or galvanising plus powder coating for coastal and de-icing salt environments.

Materials: steel tube and sheet, ductile iron.

Customisation and Contract Manufacturing

Around 30% of our production is custom-made

Because we own the moulds and the designs, we can change them. Around 30% of what we produce is not a catalogue product.

Customising a standard product

The fastest route. We start from a product we already make and adapt it:

  • Your logo moulded or printed on the product
  • Custom colours
  • Custom reflective film layout
  • Your own cartons, labels and barcodes

This lets you sell the product under your own brand, with no mould investment and no long development.

Contract manufacturing

For a product that does not exist yet, or for a product you already sell and want to move to a new supplier.

We can start from a technical drawing, an existing sample, or just a sketch and a specification. We then handle design and design-for-manufacturing, mould and tooling development, material selection, samples, and mass production.

We work in rubber, plastic and steel, from first prototype to full container production. Your project stays confidential, and moulds developed for your project are used for your products only.

Quality Control at Every Step

Checked in the factory, not on paper

Our quality control staff are on the production floor every day, in Qingdao and in Taizhou. They check:

  • Incoming raw materials
  • The first article, before the run starts
  • Dimensions and weight during production
  • Surface finish, coating thickness and reflective film position
  • Assembly and function
  • Packaging and labelling
  • Container loading, before the doors are closed

Products are checked against the specification agreed with you, not against a general standard. If something is wrong, it is found in the factory, while it can still be fixed.
